Breathe Again Privacy Policy
Breathe Again helps you quit smoking and vaping. It is built so your quit journey stays yours: there is no account, and we never see what you log.
What you enter and where it lives
Your quit date, how much you smoked, what a pack costs, your triggers, your reasons and your craving log are stored on your iPhone. If you're signed in to iCloud, they also sync to your own private iCloud database through Apple's CloudKit so they appear on your other devices. We cannot access your iCloud data. You can delete everything at any time in the app under Me → Delete all my data.
The AI coach
The coach uses Apple's own models. On supported devices it runs on your iPhone. When a request needs a larger model, it may be processed by Apple's Private Cloud Compute, which uses your data only to answer that request, doesn't store it, and isn't accessible to Apple. No third-party AI service receives your messages. On devices without Apple Intelligence, the coach uses built-in guidance and nothing is sent anywhere.
Purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to confirm what you've bought. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and your App Store purchase history, never your quit data. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Usage analytics
We collect anonymous usage events, such as "onboarding completed" or "paywall viewed", through Google Firebase Analytics and Mixpanel to understand which features help. These events aren't linked to your identity, contain none of your quit data or coach messages, and are never used for advertising or tracking across apps. Advertising identifiers and ad personalization are turned off.
Crash reports
If the app crashes, Google Firebase Crashlytics receives a crash report with technical details such as the device model, iOS version and the code that failed. Crash reports don't include your quit data or coach messages. See Firebase's privacy information.
What we don't do

Health information
Breathe Again supports your quit attempt but isn't medical advice. Health milestones come from the World Health Organization. Talk to a doctor or pharmacist about stop-smoking medicines. In the US, free quit coaching is available at 1-800-QUIT-NOW.
Children
Breathe Again isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
